Dr. Chong Chen and the Scherrer Lab commissioned me for the design of a cover art representation of their research to be published, from ideation through execution. We represent the cognitive elements associated with placebo pain relief through the visual integration of medications and the emotions that they provoke, whether or not they are pharmaceutically effective. I executed this using a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
