Temptations of St. Anthony: Half Cards

A series of hand-collaged cards inspired by St. Anthony the Great for UNC Chapel Hill chapter of St. Anthony Hall, a co-ed literary and arts fraternity. These cards and are meant to be used as gifts of gratitude and transfer hand-written messages. Each features a portion of a classical depiction of the temptations of St. Anthony, and is named for a “dialogue” with the painter.

These non-folding “Half cards” are all 6” x 8” are are collaged both front and back. Materials include second-hand paper materials, my personal illustrations, and hand-sewn binding with perl cotton.
